Auction Records for Faith Ringgold & John Biggers at Swann Galleries’ Auction of Angelou’s Art Collection

Maya's Quilt of Life by Faith Ringgold 1989 sold today, September 15, 2015 at the Swann Galleries auction house for a record $461,000.00. I suppose it was not Oprah Winfrey who bought back her own commissioned quilt.
